Project Description

Thousands of families across Ontario and Quebec are facing lengthy power outages following Saturday’s storm.
As hours without power drag into days for some households, our team offers some tips:
– Keep breastfeeding: this will be the easiest & safest way to feed your baby or young child in this or any other emergency
– Offer babies over 6 months foods that you and your family are eating, rather than jars or pouches that can’t be stored safely without refrigeration once opened
– If you are primarily or exclusively bottlefeeding and can relocate to a safe place with power, consider doing so, especially if power is likely to be off for several more days
